Th app is based on the work of Hugh Turvey. Each object is associated with one letter of the alphabet. The interface is pretty simple and does not confuse your child.

X is for X-Ray is a super cool book and has a lot of potential. The photos in this interactive book are quite superb. We would love to see more objects covered in the app though. It could always be a bit cheaper.

CliffsNotes Study Guides may be a free application but you are going to have to buy works to get the most out of it. Study guides for Animal Farm, Frankenstein, Hamlet, Lord of The Flies, Macbeth, and many other works of literature are available. You do get a free study guide to test out the app. This app provides you with effective study plans to keep you going.

CliffsNotes offers you book summaries and everything you need to master the characters in the works you are studying. The character map feature is pretty neat as it helps you make sense of relationships between the characters in your favorite work. The plot summaries available in audio format are nice too.

iDinobook covers over 200 dinosaurs. The app is fully interactive and comes with a ton of pictures and descriptions to satisfy your kid’s sense of curiosity. We were very impressed with the depth of information offered in it. Your young ones can even find out where fossils have been discovered on a map.

iDinobook covers more dinosaurs that I was personally familiar with. It has a quiz feature just in case you want to test your young one on this topic. The quality of graphics and illustrations in iDinobook was quite superb. This is one great learning tool for your curious child. It would be a whole lot better if it included pronunciations and even more interactive content.
