The concept behind Pozzle is quite neat. Setting up events in it is very easy. In order for participants to complete a Pozzle event, they have to connect to your event, earn points, and unlock rewards. As a Pozzle member, you can create events or join them. The app shows you the events you have created and the ones available for you to join.

Pozzle is a great tool to use to connect with people you know or have just met. Creating events and setting rewards for them is pretty straight forward. The idea has a lot of potential. It makes connecting with others and networking with them a whole lot more fun.

Spiral Painter has various brush effects you can apply to your work. You are in control of the spiral settings. You can change rendering parameters, speed, brush settings. The UI is easy to get a handle on. It offers multiple undo/redo. The app works great on iPhone and looks great on iPad.

Spiral Painter saves your work on exit. Users can save their work to their photo album. Facebook support is provided as well. Spiral Painter may not be the best app in this category but it is quite fun to play with. Another nice app for the creative side inside you.

Halloween Soundlab does not have the most sophisticated user interface. But it does have 13 sounds you can loop individually or with other sounds. Mixing sounds such as Dragging Chains, Zombies, Heartbeat, Empty Rocking Chair, Haunting Wind, Lost Soul Crying for Help can lead to more spooky music. Turning each sound on and off does not take more than a tap.

Halloween Soundlab is not the only app you will need for Halloween. But it does bring nice effects to your phone. We would love to get even more sounds though.

Carve It! Pumpkin Carving lets players carve pumpkins with their fingers and light up the candle inside. You get 3 different pumpkin sizes to choose from. Up to 5 kids can get to play this game. Once your child is done with his/her pumpkin, just save the work or share it with others via e-mail. This game has interactive elements. Kids can have more fun by tapping on the house or the cat.

Carve It! Pumpkin Carving has colorful graphics. It comes with 8 characters for user profiles. It does have a bonus game that involves collecting coins by flinging pumpkins in the air. The game is not that hard to figure out and is kid friendly.

Carve It! Pumpkin Carving is an entertaining app to use during Halloween. It can entertain your young children on your iPhone. Worth having for young families.

Ghost Board turns your iPhone into a spirit medium device. Those of you who have seen real spirit boards are going to find the interface quite familiar. The app does come up with some scary things. Not sure how to operate a spirit board. The help section has you covered. This can be especially scary if you use it in a dark room.

Whether you can catch ghosts with Ghost Board is not really the point of using it. It is a pretty fun app to use to scare people on Halloween. One of the better ouija board apps we have tested.

My Movies saves you time entering new items into your collection. You can add new entries by barcode or title. You can scan barcodes to save yourself some time entering information into this app. I like the fact that you can add movies to different groups to differentiate between the ones you have and those you wish to own. This app gives you access to movie trailers to save you time finding interesting movies to pick up.

My Movies makes searching yourr collection a whole lot easier. You can search by various factors such as rating, movie length, release date, and added date. Detailed information are provided for each movie. Looking up actors and directors is pretty easy in this app. This tool is especially useful if you have the Windows/Mac version. You can upload your collection directly that way.

Overall, My Movies for iPhone is a pretty useful tool to manage your movie collection with. It saves you time entering your movies and can help you grow your movie collection faster. It is well worth trying for movie lovers.

Time Shutter has over 200 images of San Francisco from the 20th century. It clearly shows you how your city has changed from those years. All you have to do is hold your phone up and slide your finger to see what was in that place years ago. The app gives you a tour guide of your city, which is perfect for those new to that area.

Time Shutter’s transition is smooth.  It has an opacity slider that makes going through the photos more fun. The photos are pretty cool too. You are provided with captions to give you a better sense what you are looking at. Time Shutter has a map that shows you areas you can explore near your current location. The app is social media friendly, which helps.

If you are interested in finding out more about the history of San Francisco, Time Shutter is well worth checking out. We would love to see these types of apps created for other cities.

IMDb Trivia covers both movies and TV programs. It tests your knowledge of celebrities too. All kinds of movies are covered. Not everyone is a master when it comes to celebrities. This app lets you start with easier questions but five levels of difficulty are available to you. Matching stars with movies and putting movies in the order they have been released is not always easy.

IMDb Trivia also covers movie quotes, celebrity photo games, and poster matching. It has premium packs you can purchase to have even more fun. You could become a master in this area if you play with this game long enough. I found the interface to be quite colorful. The game can be a lot of fun if you are into celebrities and movies.

TV Show tracker, as the name suggests, has everything you need to keep up with your favorite programs on TV. It shows you the list of all episodes announced for TV shows. You can get a quick overview of each episode. Video previews are offered too. Users can mark the episodes they have seen to avoid watching the same one again. TV Show tracker not only alerts you before and after your program has aired, it makes purchasing episodes from iTunes easy.

TV Show tracker is a TV program discovery tool too. Just shake your device to get program suggestion based on what you have watched in the past. If you have ever had trouble keeping up with your favorite TV shows, TV Show tracker is worth a consideration. The app did crash on us a couple of times. The idea is very promising though.

Digital Geiger Counter has a good looking interface. It looks quite realistic and can fool those who don’t know any better. The technical units and signs make this look more authentic. The app even makes realistic click sounds. Tilting your device to left or right will increase levels. It does have touch controls too.

Digital Geiger Counter is not a real Geiger counter and does not aim to be. It is specifically designed to pull pranks on people. You won’t be able to pull it off all the time. But it is entertaining while it lasts.
