CardMunch by LinkedIn makes converting business cards to contacts on your phone a piece of cake. Just grab your business cards and use iPhone’s camera to capture their information. The app also adds people whose card you have scanned as connections on LinkedIn. I love the fact that CardMunch offers LinkedIn profile information, related connections, and other relevant information for each contact.

CardMunch does have an elegant user interface. The app keeps track of your scanned cards which is quite useful. It is quite accurate too, which seals the deal for us. Better sync functionality would be nice though. Still, if you are addicted to LinkedIn, CardMunch is worth playing with.

Run Watch works perfectly for those who do most of their workouts outdoors. It tracks your runs, including your paths, time, elevation, and pace. The timer shows how many minutes you have been running and the amount of calories you have burned. The built-in map displays your routes. I like the fact that you can compare your current results with the ones from the past (for same routes).

I was quite impressed with the user interface of this app. It is not only elegant but also easy to get a handle on. The app shows a lot of useful information on your screen but won’t confuse you. The calendar and map features are quite helpful too. Overall, this is one nice GPS app for runners who want to track their results and continue to get better.

TouchBase Calendar is more than a simple appointment manager for iPhone. It grabs all the relevant information from your iPhone calendar and saves you time staying on the right track. When you add an appointment to your calendar, TouchBase grabs your information and shows you where and who you will be meeting. It also gives you the option to keep the other parties updated on your status.

TouchBase Calendar has an elegant and intuitive interface. The developers have gone out of their way to make this app work as painlessly as possible. TouchBase has you covered even if you don’t know where you are going. Running late? Letting others know could not get any easier. I like the fact that it works with MobileMe, Google, CalDAV, and other popular types of calendars.

TouchBase Calendar is a brilliant calendar well worth picking up for anyone with a ton of events to keep up on a regular basis. It can act as your personal assistant and keep you on the right track at all times. When paired with Siri, the sky’s the limit for it.

WordFoto for iPhone adds word messages to your photos. By combining words and photos, you can create amazing artworksl. It has multiple styles for you to choose from. Just choose your photo, define your word list, and you are set. You can customize your background and foreground settings too.

When using this app, you can import your photos from your albums or camera. It has enough settings for you to fine tune your art to your heart’s desire. WordFoto does a surprisingly good job mixing photos and images.

WordFoto for iPhone is one of the best photo effect applications we have tested. It allows users to add their words or messages to their photos easily. You don’t even have to be a Photoshop master to get started with this tool. This application can be quite a time killer too.

Tea for iPhone has one of the most impressive interfaces we have seen. It is quite refreshing to test an application that is well made, looks great, and does everything it promises flawlessly. This app does have a timer that helps you brew your tea the right way. Not all teas can be brewed the same way though. This app provides you with suggestions (temperature, time, and …) for various types of teas.

Those who have been experimenting with tea in the past would tell you that learning from mistakes is a big part of the process. You are not always going to have the perfect cup of tea. Noting your experiences down and learning from your mistakes can take you this much closer to that perfect cup. This app lets you keep track of your experiments easily.

Tea for iPhone does offer unit conversion and allows you to rate your brews too. It keeps track of your history at all times. The inventory tracker feature is pretty nice too. Can’t decide which tea you want to have? Just shake your app to find a new tea by random.

Tea for iPhone has a superb looking interface and is quite fast. If you are a tea lover or just want to experiment with your tea, you shouldn’t be without this app.

SketchWiz uses your phone’s camera to develop cool looking sketches from things all around you. iPad owners need not worry as this app is compatible with the 2nd generation iPad too. SketchWiz has an intuitive interface too. Just point your camera to the right direction and choose the effect you want to apply to your view (pencil, pen, chalk, or charcoal).

SketchWiz allows you to save your work to your photo library or share it on YouTube. This app is based on a very neat idea and can be improved to reach new heights. More effects would be quite nice. We would love to see more social features added to this app. Having the tools to edit sketches and interact with them in this app would be nice though. Still, SketchWiz is quite brilliant and a whole lot of fun.

Healthy Backs can be quite useful for those who have chronic back ache. Even if you don’t have back-aches yet, this app can help you strengthen that part of your body. David Moreno, the instructor, provides you with a detailed Yoga session to show you how to reduce the tension in your body and work on your abdominal area.

Healthy Backs provides step by step instructions and has videos to help user keep up. It is like taking a Yoga class, except you won’t have to leave your own bedroom to keep up with the instructions. The music included is pretty decent too.

Practicing Yoga can be an effective way to tackle back pain. Of course, if you have a serious back condition, you may have to do surgery or take medications. But for most folks, simple realignment and back strengthening exercises can do wonders. Healthy Backs is one of many apps that teaches you how to do those.

Need for Speed Shift: one of the best racing games we have tested. It has superb graphics and many awesome cars to choose from. Offers 3D graphics with OpenGL ES 2.0 integrations.

Infinity Blade: one of the most popular 3D games for iPhone. The game play and graphics are superb. It is action packed and mind blowing.

Call of Duty: Zombies: a multi-player action packed game for iPhone. You have got plenty of cool weapons and enemies to fight against.

Virtual Horse Racing: a good looking and quite addictive horse racing game for iPhone. Especially attractive to those into horse racing in real life.

N.O.V.A: one of the best first person shooter games available for iPhone. Its graphics are optimized for iPhone 4. Offer gyroscope support too. Has 13 awesome levels and 6 cool weapons.

Real Soccer 2010: an awesome looking 3D soccer game for iPhone. The game play is exciting. RS2010 has 8 leagues, 245 teams, and 14 stadiums. The voice commentary feature is decent too.

Galaxy on Fire 3D: a 3D intergalactic shooting game that provides you with 10 spaceships and over 20 hours of game play. One of those games to pick up an iPhone for.

Eternal Legacy: a superb RPG for iPhone. It has awesome graphics and great game play. The controls are pretty decent too. Gives you a whole new world to explore.

Parcel Panic: one of the craziest 3D racing games around. It has 4 trucks for you to choose from to go with its highly detailed graphics. Gives a whole new meaning to driving like a mad man.

I was quite impressed with this game’s graphics. The graphics seem to be even better than the first game. Players have to use everything they have to defend their castles. In order to succeed in this game, you need to be fast and focused. Sometimes, even that is not enough. The good news is you can upgrade your castle and acquire weapons to keep your enemies at bay.

The game play is pretty solid. The animation is smooth and fast. StickWars 2 did not crash on us, which was refreshing to see. Players do have ways to improve their defense but they should play their cards right. Things happen quite quickly in this game.

If you loved StickWars, you are going to love StickWars 2. The game looks even better and is as addictive. What more can you ask?

The app has a pretty attractive interface. The board’s design is quite good looking. You won’t need a magnifier to keep up with flights on your iPhone. It covers 4000 airports and 1400 airlines around the globe. The information your board is updated on a consistent basis. It’s certainly nice to have the ability to check the real-time status of any flight while waiting at an airport.

The search feature narrows down your results and helps you track your flights more effectively. Not interested in the departures board in front of you? Just switch to arrivals board. Your board information can be sent to your friend and colleagues which is good to see.

FlightBoard is a must have for air warriors. It can save you time and headaches at your airport. It has a beautiful interface and does what it promises.
