Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a way you could go through news items fast and identify the ones that are worth a read on the road? That’s what audionews is all about. It gives you stories in 1 minute blurbs, giving you the chance to go through a lot of information and pick the news you want to explore further.

audionews is an innovative way of keeping up with the news. The app lets you skip the news you don’t want to hear about. If you like what you are listening to, you can always go to the source to find out more. Best of all, stories can always be paused for the future.

I like the fact that you can “like” stories and e-mail them to others from this app. audionews supports tags too, so you can define what stories you are interested about hearing in the future. The headline page is pretty handy too (saves you time when going through the news).

audionews may not be the right tool for everyone, but one can’t argue with the fact that the idea behind this app is very interesting. Gives you yet another way to keep up with things.
<a

Gasbook has you covered there as well.

<img

For starters, it’s a very decent alarm clock. It gives you option as far as your alarm sounds are concerned (choose mp3, radio, and more). Multiple alarms are supported. Snooze time interval can be modified too. Radio Alarm is optimized for iPhone 4, which every app hopefully will be in the future.

<img

If you like a channel, you can just add it to your favorites for future references. The sleep timer is a plus just in case you want to get your sleep cycles back on track.

To summarize, Radio Alarm is a pretty decent radio & clock hybrid app for iPhone. Shoutcast has a ton of stations that you can listen to when using this app. The alarm clock does what it’s supposed to do. The app did crash on us once, but we have not been able to replicate it since. The app addresses a need many iPhone owners have had in the past. It lets users take pictures of things while appearing to be using their phones like anyone else. Screen transparency can be modified to give users the chance to see what they are taking a photo of.

<img

SpyPic can be very addictive once your get your hands on it. Pictures are saved to users’ album. They can be e-mailed directly from this app too.

To sum things up, you don’t have to be a spy to need this app. SpyPic makes it much easier to take photos of things and people without disturbing anyone or being so obvious about it. It’s one clever app that can be very addictive.

Rating: Diacarta is an attractive planning application that keeps track of your daily events and gives you a visual way to keep up with them.

Diacarta is not your average planner application. It has a beautiful interface and has over 50 icons for you to choose from. These icons are developed to create a better mental figure for you (as far as your daily tasks are concerned). Users can easily add events and associate unique icons to each.

If you need to schedule your events, you can just grab an icon and drag it to the right place on your clock. Of course, you can update your events from their details page. It certainly beats using a simple list.

Diacarta is very intuitive and quite dynamic. The icons are attractive and help you get a better sense of what’s ahead of you each day. Scheduling and managing your events couldn’t be any easier. It is a truly unique app for those who lead a hectic life.

Rating: <span
