This is an amasing app. I’m a complete novice to star gazing but this app is the business. It automatically picks up your location and you can simply point it anywhere at the sky and see the names of 8000 starsn constellations and planets.

Lay your iPhone flat and you can navigate all objects including those below the horizon.

I love the way you can have the app speed forward or backwards in time time and seen the planets circling around the screen.

I only just bought my app but I don’t see many of the earlier publicised issues. The app loads fast.

A couple of times in the many hours I have used it, the image has disappeared but once I got it back by simply pich and zooming. On the other occasion I restarted the iPhone. But it doesn’t happen enough to detract from the pure enjoyment of having completely new words opened up to me. Ones that I can now identify and name thanks to this little gem.

I’ve shown this people who want to buy an iPhone just for this app alone. Enough said!
