Thanks to the strong base of developers, iTunes app store has exploded with many useful iPhone applications in the past few months. Solutions is another useful chemistry application. It’s what I call the “mole master.” It helps you calculate the weight of chemicals and their moles.
Now this is not earth shattering chemistry, but as a former chemistry tutor, I have seen it with my eyes that folks struggle with these concepts when taking their first chemistry classes. Solutions application is useful as it helps you figure out the whole mole thing, but also allows you to save your favorite chemicals’ information for the future.
Overall, Solutions is easy to use and very convenient. It makes chemistry fun, and a must have for biology and chemistry students.
