Car Manager is what you need to keep track of your rides. Just enter your vehicle information and fill ups to start tracking your vehicle. The app gives you a breakdown of your statistics, including cost per spending category. I love the fact that I can keep service providers’ information in this app.

Car Manager does have a set of tools you can use to find your car and businesses around you. Once you are done with your work, you can always export your data. Not a bad app to have around if you have multiple vehicles at your place.

BestParking as the name suggests lets you compare parking locations for your car to find the one that offers the best deal. It covers 30 cities and 79 airports. As you can see in the above screenshot, you get hourly and daily rates for the locations you are considering. This is especially handy when you are planning to take air trips. Just enter your location, your arrival/departure dates/times, and you are set.

BestParking for iPhone is pretty decent tool if you don’t want to spend a lot of time searching for parking spots. BestParking.com has even more information to save you time. The app does need to be a bit more interactive. Not all cities are covered. BestParking for iPhone could be more social media friendly too. It does have a lot of potential though.

Pocket Garage: a service reminder and fuel efficiency calculator. You can also use this app to keep a log for all the repairs you perform on your car.

Gas Cubby: one of the most sophisticated applications in this category. A great tool to use to measure your car’s fuel efficiency. It can act as a service reminder. It charts your car data too. It offers CSV reports too.

Car Minder Plus: can keep track of repairs for multiple cars. It tells you when you need to take your car to the mechanic. Its history reports are pretty useful too.

RepairPal: so you are in an emergency situation and need to perform major repair on your car? This tool helps you save money and find a decent repair shop.

Vehicle Logbook: the ultimate logbook for your car repairs. You can use it to keep track of your car info, its expenses, and services.

Your car is not going to take care of itself. Thanks to the above apps, you get to remember when to take your car to your mechanic to keep it in top shape at all times.

If you are anything like me, chances are you don’t know where you have even parked your car half the time. Parkbud for iPhone is quite useful in that regard. It can show you where your car is and gives you directions right to it. Of course, if you have a parking meter next to your car, you want to make sure it is paid up for the amount of time you will be away. Parkbud sends you a reminder before your meter expires.

Parkbud has a superb interface and is highly customizable. It shows you how much time is left on your meter, so you know when to make your move. You can set reminder alarm using the number pad and spinning wheel (see the first image). This app can find you places to park your car. It does have a notepad just in case you want to take notes. It can handle photos too.

Parkbud for iPhone is an awesome tool for anyone having to deal with parking meters on a frequent basis. It can save you time finding parking spots and getting back to your spot.

Honk for iPhone keeps track of the amount of time you have left on your meter. It lets you set alarms to remind yourself when it is time to make your way back to your car. I also love the fact that the number of minutes left is shown on the app’s icon.

Honk does let you take photos of your parking spot and add your notes. The app keeps track of your parking location via GPS. It also supports various meter types and has multiple alarm sounds. Honk can work in the background on your iPhone 4.

If you have ever received a ticket for parking somewhere for too long, Honk can help. It keeps track of your parking locations and reminds you when it is time to go. What more can you ask?

Car Maintenance Reminder has a simple to use interface and lets you store your car information on your iPhone. You can always store the recommended tire pressure and oil level for your car to check your car’s information against to make sure it is in tip-top shape. It supports multiple vehicles which helps.

The Alert feature is pretty handful as well. You can set up alerts (e.g. each 6 months) to, let’s say, make sure your car’s oil is taken care of at the right time. Alerts can be configured to go off periodically, after a specific date, or after you have passed a specific mileage. The odometer log is pretty helpful too.

This app has a lot of potential. It’d be nice if some of the information (e.g. recommended tires pressures) were uploaded to this app automatically. Wouldn’t it be nice if this app could actually track your mileage, so you didn’t have to? How about if this app offered oil price comparison in your area?

A lot of people own cars these days and many of them need tools such as this one to keep their cars in top shape at all times. Let’s hope the developers behind Car Maintenance Reminder add more cool features to their app in the future. Still, this is a pretty decent alert/log app for your car.

Roadside America covers more than just those popular spots. It can show you less-known museums, spooky graves, and statues that you may have missed. It’s a great way to plan a trip and add some variety to it to keep everyone in your family entertained (nobody hates those oddities).

Roadside America lets you search attractions by name, city, or state. You can also browse through its lists by category. I loved the reviews and all the useful information that is available in this app. If you are not too sure about a spot, you can always check its photos .

This app is designed for those of you who don’t want to take a trip for the sake of doing it. With this app, you get to explore more places without getting bored on the road. You get to share your trips with others through Facebook and Twitter, which is a must have feature.

Overall, if you are into exploring new places and want to visit as many attractions as possible in your area, you can’t go wrong with Roadside America. This is a premium app, so you will have to pay to unlock all its features. It just happens to be one of those apps that is worth paying for.

ChargePoint allows you to find charging stations near you fast. If you are too far away from one of these stations, you can always get turn by turn directions from this app. It even provides you with the real time availability of charging stations all around you as well.

In order to get the best out of this app, you can always sign up for a ChargePoint network account. The app is very easy to work with and pretty intuitive. It certainly makes life easier for electric vehicle drivers. The maps are pretty handy and the directions come useful as well. It’s free too!

Park’N Find is pretty easy to use. The app not only provide you with a map that keeps you updated on your car’s location as you get close to it, it also provides you with directions to help you get there fast. The map automatically pans and resizes itself as you get closer to your car. The fact that GPS co-ordinates are approximated to street address is pretty useful too.

The app allows you to take photos and leave yourself voice notes just in case you are having too much trouble finding your car. You can also set up reminders for to-do tasks such as paying parking meters or moving your car after a certain hour. Park’N Find allows you to track an unlimited number of parking spots, so you can always keep track of your favorite spots (no matter how many of them you have).

If you are looking for an app that lets you find your way to your car fast no matter where you have parked it, Park’N Find is a decent app to try. Who needs another gadget to carry around when you can install Park’N Find on your iPhone to keep track of your car.

I would have loved to see some tips videos included with this app, but overall the images are clear enough to help you fix most minor issues on the road all by yourself. Overall, if you are looking for an app to carry with you as a reference on the road to solve those tricky car problems, Car Care & Roadside Emergencies is well worth a try.
