CardMunch by LinkedIn makes converting business cards to contacts on your phone a piece of cake. Just grab your business cards and use iPhone’s camera to capture their information. The app also adds people whose card you have scanned as connections on LinkedIn. I love the fact that CardMunch offers LinkedIn profile information, related connections, and other relevant information for each contact.

CardMunch does have an elegant user interface. The app keeps track of your scanned cards which is quite useful. It is quite accurate too, which seals the deal for us. Better sync functionality would be nice though. Still, if you are addicted to LinkedIn, CardMunch is worth playing with.

Big Deuce or Big Two is a popular card game that is played around the globe. It is also known as Thirteen. If cards games are your thing, you have probably played Big Two before. You start every round with 3 of Diamond. You can play three of a kind. At the end of each round, you give one point for every remaining card, and 2 if you have more than 10 cards, and triple it all if there are thirteen cards.

This game is really simple to use if you know the rules. You can test yourself against the computer and track your scores. If you are a fan of card games, you are going to enjoy Big Deuce.

Speed has come to the iPhone. If you have played cards in your life, there is a good chance that you have played Speed before. Speed Fiend now allows you to play the game of speed on the iPhone.

I have seen many cool games on the iPhone platform, but card games have always been my favorite. The thing about card games is that most of us have played them in real time, and while these games are often simple, they are addictive enough to keep us busy for hours (you may argue that Poker is not simple. You may be right but I would argue that it’s easy to play, regardless of how much you win or lose).

21 Pro puts you behind a BlackJack table and allows you to start learning the ins and outs of this game. If you are an expert Black Jack pro, you are still going to find 21 Pro useful.

I was very impressed with the graphics of this game. While not earth-shattering, the creators of 21 Pro have gone out of their way to create a unique BlackJack experience with their design. As expected, you can hit, stand, double down, split, and surrender with 21 Pro. You can also play up to 4 hands, which makes it more fun.

21 Pro is a great BlackJack learning tool. It has served as a great refresher for me, but if you are new to this game, you are going to learn how to play it like a pro by actually playing it. Highly recommended.
