Study guides for Animal Farm, Frankenstein, Hamlet, Lord of The Flies, Macbeth, and many other works of literature are available. You do get a free study guide to test out the app. This app provides you with effective study plans to keep you going.

CliffsNotes offers you book summaries and everything you need to master the characters in the works you are studying. The character map feature is pretty neat as it helps you make sense of relationships between the characters in your favorite work. The plot summaries available in audio format are nice too.

If you are looking for a learning tool to help you get better grades in your literature courses, CliffsNotes Study Guides is a nice app to pick up. This app is priced for free but you will have to pay for the guides that apply to your specific course.

Users can open, close, and go through their e-books in full 3D. Various classic works are included for you to get started with. The visuals are simply stunning. The effects make your experience with this app more realistic.

Algebra Touch is like a math board on steroids. It allows you to master basic Algebra by interacting with equations and statements. You can simply rearrange, and cross out numbers and variables by using your fingers. The following topics are covered in this app:

• Simplification
• Operations and their order
• Factorization
• Prime numbers
• Equations
• and much more

Algebra Touch does allow you to view your results on an external display, making this app a great tool for teachers.

Algebra Touch is very responsive and has a dynamic UI. If you are learning Algebra or teaching that class, Algebra Touch can be a very helpful too.

Chem Pro has tens of videos on general chemistry that walk you through the topics you need to master to pass those chemistry exams with flying colors. The app does show you how to solve certain chemistry problems. Practice these lessons enough times, and you should be fine in those chemistry exams.

At the very least, Chem Pro can help you gain a better understanding of the topics your class has just covered. This application does have a flash card feature just in case you have trouble memorizing formulas and symbols more effectively.

Chem Pro would not be complete without calculators. It does have a molar mass calculator and a unit converter to help students tackle those chemistry problems in an easier fashion. While you don’t want to use these tools all the time (just to get the practice), they can save you some time with your calculations.

If Chemistry is not your cup of tea or you have had trouble mastering it in the past, Chem Pro can be very useful. It’d be nice if social features are introduced in the future though.

I don’t know about you but I was always a big fan of geometry and trigonometry problems when I was in school. They can certainly help keep you sharp and improve your problem skills. But these topics are not easy for everyone to tackle, which is where Trigonomics comes in handy. It’s an innovative problem solver that helps you solve those triangle problems, understand sin(x) and cos(x) relationships, and graph trigonometric functions right on your phone.

The Triangle Solver is perhaps the most impressive feature in this app. It can help you solve those triangle problems in a flash. It will also tell you if the numbers you have inserted can’t work for a triangle.

Trigonomics’ graphing capability is fun to play with as well. Besides, you can learn a thing or two about the relationship between all these functions by taking a look at all these graphs. You can always turn off the functions that you don’t want to show up on your graph.

In summary, Trigonomics is a very easy to use application that can be very helpful for high school students and math fans alike. It can save you time if you have a triangle problem on your hands. The app is not as sophisticated as Matlab, and it’s not intended to be. But it can save you time whether you are a student or an engineer.

The Oregon Trail is a reenactment of the classic games a lot of used to play a life-time ago. It’s an educational adventure game that involves you solving challenges in a historical environment. If you have played the original game, you probably know how the game works. The game involves a lot of decision-making and problem-solving, and now you can get it all on your iPhone.

The game has 8 skill-based mini-games that will keep you busy for a while:

You also get side-missions to make your journey more interested.

Verdict: I was personally impressed with some of the graphics in this game. The game may not be that fun for grown ups. These games are much more fun when you are a kid, but once you get older, you grow out of them. I was also not so impressed with the game crashing on me multiple times. The Oregon Trail is a game with great potential. It is especially great for kids but some adults may find it fun as well.

Wikipedia is the new source of every fact in the world these days (even though most of the facts are written by us contributors). Wikiamo is really a simple application made for Wikipedia junkies. If you opened Wikipedia with Safari, you know that it’s really hard to read unless you do some adjustments. Well, no adjustment is needed with Wikiamo folks.

The application is free and very easy to use. This application formats Wikipedia in a readable way. That’s all it does, and that’s why it’s so useful!

Who know Chemistry could be this fun. Well. Before you come out and call me a nerd, I’ve got a confession to make. I have been always amazed with the table of elements. It’s just an amazing table that shows how complex things are in our world (though they look very simple to some of us).

The Chemical touch comes with two tables really. On one side you get the periodic table. On the other you get amino acids (Yummy!).As you can see below, you can also find all kinds of useful information such as mole and even the chemical structure.

You can also get the PH information. OK. Here is the thing. This application is great for chemistry majors. It is a must have for college students taking early chemistry courses. I am kind of old school and I remember I had the whole table memorized, but now that I think about it, it’s just nuts. So if you are a chemistry major, I don’t think the $0.99 cost will kill you. Chemistry Touch costs less than what I pay for coffee every day.

Graphing calculators are very popular among college students. If you are a college student, and you are taking calculus right now, you know what I am talking about. I talked about the cool graphing calculator that I found a few days ago. That application is great for people who are taking Algebra. But Grafly is just in another league.

Grafly allows you to draw complex graphs such as sin(x) + tan(x). Now that is something you can do with Matlab or Maple, but having the ability to draw graphs of complex equations on the iPhone is just a life-saving feature.

Now here is one cool feature that you don’t see every day. You can grab the above graph and then move it around, go around the curve, and explore it as you wish. You can also do shading and all kinds of stuff with these graphs OK. I know some of you guys are going to think I am such a nerd. But I just love cool graphs, and I have been in calculus classes, having to work with these graphs. So I know if you are in college taking this class, I know how helpful this app will be.

Is Grafly for everyone? Of course not. If you are not into Math at all, this app will be useless to you, but if you take advance Math classes, then this could save you some time.
