Those of you who have played Hero of Sparta in the past are already familiar with how this game works. Your goal is to play hero against all kind of dangerous enemies. Hero of Sparta II has 12 levels for you to take advantage of (in 8 environments). Master the combos in this game, and you can get one violent experience out of this game.

Hero of Sparta II lets you interact with your environment (break things and … ). It does have a decent set of controls to pull off complicated moves. The game is extremely polished and has some of the best graphics we have seen in these types of games.

Those of you into action and violent games will love Hero of Sparta II. Who needs Sony PSP when you can play Hero of Sparta on your iPhone.

So what makes Street Fighter different from other fighting games? The game’s character and their moves. With this game, you have 8 characters to choose from and a ton of unique attacks and special moves to keep yourself entertained with. If you are tired of going against the computer, you can use a bluetooth connection to beat some sense into your friends. You also have control over the controls and can customize them in a way that gives you the best chance to win your fights.

I was a bit hesitant about the controls of this game. After all, nothing can replace a real controller. But Street Fighter IV does give you the chance to customize your controls and its controls are pretty easy to work with. You are going to need a decent control to have fun with this game, and that’s what you get.

All in all, if you are looking for a fast paced combat iPhone game to keep you entertained on the road, Street Fighter IV seems like a solid option. It’s a bit pricey at $9.99, but it’s worth a look as it never gets old and the fun will last you a while.

The app is pretty straight forward and comes with a very intuitive interface. It allows you to select your rounds, your round duration, and rest duration. You can also add delays and alerts to help you stay on track with your training. The color graphs are a nice addition as well.

Overall, Fight Time is a very handy app to own for anyone who’s a practicing mixed martial arts or fighting student. It’s very to use and gets the job done.

The game’s concept is quite simple. You are in Afghanistan trying to defend your bases against enemy combatants. Russian and Afghan forces are trying to run you out of your area. Your goal is to beat them both through the air and on the ground. The game has multiple types of attackers, so you are going to need to use your full arsenal to keep them at bay.

The game graphics are decent and the game play is very easy to get a handle on. It comes with multiple levels of difficulty, so you are never going to get too bored with the game. It also is OpenFeint enabled, which is always a plus. I did have some issues with the control of this game, but those issues have been addressed by the developers. I would love to see more levels and weapons added to the game.

Overall, if you are looking for a fun combat game to play on your iPhone and don’t want to spend too much money, Air Assault gets the job done.

There is just something about the Spartans that make them so intriguing. Whether it’s the movies or all the games that have been made about them, Spartans always have something interesting to offer. And that is exactly what you get with Hero of Sparta. It is a wonderful action game that involves you defying the gods and completing extreme challenges. As King Argos, your goal is to fight your way through the Underworld and slay lots of demons on your way to the finish.

I have to admit this game comes with the best graphics I have seen on iPhone so far. By playing the game for a while, you are going to realize how much effort the developers have put in to design this game. The controls were easy as well. You can use the virtual stick to guide your character and do combos with your fingers. The 360 degrees view makes this game so much fun to play.

You get 8 cool levels with Hero of Sparta. You are going to face a lot of monsters with crazy powers (beware of that Cerberus). You also have 5 weapons to upgrade and you can collect goodies as you go. Hero of Sparta is God of War meets Devil May Cry. It’s so much fun, and the graphics are out of this world. If you are into intense action games, you are going to love Hero of Sparta.

WarShip is an exciting action game that involves you going to war against powerful warships and their weapons on the sea. Your goal is to defend against enemy attacks and sink your enemies. But you will have to fight against pirates as well. So in a sense this game is Master and Commander meets Pirates of the Caribbean. As you defend against enemy attacks, you get better warships and the special features that go with them. You also get trophies for your efforts, but you have to protect them too!

I found the controls to be very intuitive and the graphics are brilliant. The game can be difficult at times as you try to outmaneuver your enemies. Shooting can’t be easier on this app. You can shoot your cannons by touching anywhere on the screen. But you have to be on your toes to pick up trophies as your enemies drop it. What was exciting about this game is the new goodies that you can upgrade to. Better ships and better weapons lead to better results, so don’t get discouraged with your initial weapons.

All in all, Warship is another exciting action/adventure game for iPhone. It’s a whole lot of fun and very challenging at the same time. If sea games are your thing, you are going to love Warship.

Annihilation Arena is one of those addictive games that keeps you entertained with a whole lot of action and combat. You are pretty much attacked from all directions from enemy fighters, and your goal is to out-shoot and outlast them. It’s a kill or get killed game that should satisfy your hunger for action and destruction!

Annihilation Arena is one of the best action games I have personally played on my iPhone mainly due to the fact the game is very challenging without taking any fun out of the whole experience. You have access to eight different weapons (e.g. Flamethrower and Laser) which you can use to disable and destroy your enemies. One of the most fun things about this game is trying these different weapons on your enemies. Who knew blowing things up could be so much fun. Best of all, you also get to fight in three fun arenas that will test your gaming credentials.

I was very impressed with this game’s graphics. Once you take a look at this game, you are going to realize how much effort the developers put forth to develop this application. The game controls are fun as you get to control your movement and your gun with your fingers. You essentially get two pads. One controls the movement, and the other moves your aiming. So it’s better to play this game with both hands. The music is fun too though I recommend you start without it to get a handle on what the game is all about. The game can be challenging, and you don’t want to go up in the smokes by being careless.

All in all, Annihilation Arena is one heck of an action game for iPhone. It’s very addictive, and it always give you an excuse to go back and try to do better. The graphics are great and getting to blow up enemies is always fun.  I would like to see more arenas and even more innovative weapons if possible. But as it is, this is one killer action game that you’ve got to try.

If you have been following iPhoneAppsFinder for a while, you probably know I have a thing for tank games. Heavy Mach is a cool iPhone application that takes the whole tank genre to a whole new level. Heavy Mach is a realistic tank game that involves shooting, moving, and dashing.

The game comes with 6 missions and 30 stages that keep you busy for a while. You also get 21 phases of part upgrade with Heavy Mach. What I like about this game is the variety of weapons that you can use to shoot your targets down. You get shotgun, howitzer, missile, laser, and even A-bomb. With all kinds of enemies that you have in this game, you are going to need all your weapons.

Overall, I found Heavy Mach to be a very fun tank game for the iPhone. It’s very easy to play and addictive at the same time. I would like to see more stages added to this game, but the developers have promised to do so in the near future.

Payback is another addictive game that is dominating the world of iTunes. The first time I played the game, I thought I was playing the good old Grand Theft Auto. You pretty much get the same plot with Payback. You have missions to complete, and there are guys who will kill you if you are not too careful. Classic GTA-style death!

The sound track is awesome, and the graphics are stunning. I love the fact that you get lots of car to choose from. You also can explore over 11 cities. And last but not the least you get lots of weapons!

Payback is a great GTA clone for the iPhone platform. The problem is, a lot of folks may have not played GTA before. GTA games are not that easy (at least not for me). If you are looking for a game that you can beat in 10 seconds, look elsewhere. Payback takes dedication, but honestly it is all so much fun that you may not even want to finish these missions. Overall, another smash hit by Apex Designs and well worth the price ($4.99).

Time Crisis Strike is an action packed duck & shoot arcade game that allows you to go on war with your weapon right on your iPhone. You’ve got your pistol, and all you got to do is use it to battle Wild Dog armies. You can also maneuver out of the way of attacks and buy time to reload.

If you choose to play the arcade mode, you get to play through stages until you find your way to a showdown with the big boss Wild Dog. Finishing the arcade mode allows you to unlock the Crisis Missions, which involve a lot of shooting and are much fun.

Time Crisis Strike is a very addictive game and comes with stunning graphics. The soundtrack makes playing the game more exciting. The application is available for both the iPhone and the iPod Touch.
