MusicWatch is quite a handy tool to keep up with the latest work from your favorite bands. After its initial scan, the app downloads the full catalogs for the artists whose music is in your library. Finding out about new music titles released by the artists you love does not take more than a couple of taps. Users have the option to add more artists and remove the ones they do not want to track.

MusicWatch comes integrated with iCloud. That means your artist lists will be synchronized between your devices. Besides, your lists are saved to the cloud, so you won’t have to worry about losing them.  MusicWatch works quite well on the iPad too. A nice tool to have for music lovers.

AirCassette comes with a number of designs you can choose from for your cassette. The tape has a realistic look to it. The forward and rewind animations are fun too. Users do have the option to add multiple songs to their queue to listen without any interruptions. Sharing song queues with others is supported too.

AirCassette for iPhone is not the most sophisticated music player for iOS. But it does look quite unique and may bring some old memories back. It has a lot of potential.

Podrunner makes the process of going through all its music titles easy. These sounds can keep you in the mood for longer workouts. Mixes can be sorted by BPM or date. Need a specific mix? You can search through the music available using keyword phrases. Podrunner is available for free for iPhone. But its “Beat Shifting” upgrade package is worth checking out. It lets you change the tempo on any mix to make it fit your current exercise.

Once you upgrade your app, you will have the ability to change the tempo of your mixes and skip the intros. It also gets rid of in-app ads. Podrunner shows the titles you have downloaded and the ones you have used recently. A pretty cool tool to bring more fun to your workout sessions.

Barcodes are everywhere you look. Most products you can buy have these marks on them. Barcodas allows you to scan any European Article Number or UPC and turn it into a musical pattern. This actually makes shopping at stores a whole lot of fun as you never know what you can get from this application.

As you try different barcodes and play with its harmonic scale, you will discover new tunes. You can share your tunes on Facebook too. I would love to see more export functions in this application. Supporting other social networks would be nice too. This application is not compatible with iPod Touch at this point. Let’s hope that changes soon.

Audiogalaxy Mobile allows you to take your music wherever you go. It makes the process a piece of cake. The setup process does not take more than a couple of minutes. The quality of music streamed is superb. Audiogalaxy Mobile supports most major music file formats (such as mp3, AAC, FLAC,.. ). You do want to make sure your files are DRM free.

Audiogalaxy Mobile has a user friendly interface. It lets users listen to their music from a distance. Audiogalaxy Genie is a wonderful feature that makes creating playlists you will love easy. Streaming can be done over WiFi, 3G, and Edge.

Audiogalaxy Mobile is one of the best music apps we have tested. It offers a ton of features for free. If you plan to stream your music files on your computer to your iOS device, you can’t go wrong with AudioGalaxy.

SoundTracking is a free application that allows you to share those special songs from your special moments. This app can identify the music you are hearing and saves you a lot of time doing so. Once you have identified your music, you can just add your photo, geo-tag your song, and send your information to Facebook and Twitter.

Foursquare junkies are going to love using this app as well. This is a social app, so you do a bit of sharing and get a bit of receiving too. SoundTracking does keep you on top of the songs and locations that are trending.

SoundTracking is a pretty handy tool to share/discover music on the go. It did crash on us a couple of times when we tried the “trending music” feature. But SoundTracking has a lot of potential.

Robick for iPhone is a handy tool for music students. Want to listen to your fast music in a slower fashion? That can be arranged within this application. The app also lets you change keys and tempos using its visual controls. By studying the keys and other elements of your music, users can have an easier time taking their music game to the next level.

With Robick for iPhone, users can repeat parts of their favorite track. Just use the wheel to go through your songs. You can modify key and pitch but keep the tempo in their music unchanged. The interface is not that complicated. Tracks can be imported from iPhone’s music library.

Robick for iPhone is another great tool for those of you who want to study your music and learn a few things along the way. It can’t open DRM files though.

WiFi2HiFi works with your Mac or desktop computer. It is compatible with the latest version of Mac OS and Windows. It works in conjunction with WiFi2HiFi Station (desktop version) to bring your audio files to all your rooms. This app can be used to stream music to your home theater system, speakers, or any other device you can connect your idevice to.

WiFi2HiFi supports multi-tasking. The audio quality is pretty decent, especially if you have a strong wireless network and don’t push its limits. The app is ready to go right out of the box. You don’t have to be technical to get it to work.

If you have always wanted to go beyond the storage limits of your idevices and listen to more of your audio collection around your place, WiFi2HiFi is must see.

As the name suggests, Music Stats provides you with statistics on the songs you have stored and played on your iDevice. It keeps track of the number of times you have played your songs and their genre. It puts your information on a nice chart, so anyone can figure out what type of music you are into just by looking at it.

Music Stats can show you your music habits. Total play count, skip count, and song length are tracked in this app. Music Stats has an easy to use interface that makes it easy to rediscover your old favorite songs. Have a song sitting on your device that you have never listened to? Music Stats saves you time finding those types of files.

Music Stats keeps track of your most and least favorite songs, so you don’t have to. It displays your music habits too. What more can you ask?

Ringtone Designer Pro has a very clean and simple interface. All you have to do is select the song you want to turn into a ringtone, select your clip, and get your ringtone. You can use this app to create a custom ringtone for each person in your address book. The sky is the limit with this application. Ringtone Designer even lets you turn the sounds around you into ringtones.

Ringtone designer Pro can create ringtones that are up to 40 seconds long. You do get a free ringtone pack to get you started though. Once you are done creating your ringtone, sync your phone with iTunes, and you are ready to go.

Creating a custom ringtone for iPhone should not be hard. The developers behind Ringtone Designer Pro understand that. It is a very decent app all around.
