I always find that with these cocktail apps, browsing through all the page long lists to build what you have, is tedious. Even more so if you'e buzzed.

Check out getDrunker, 99 cents, not as comprehensive as this one, and it's not as expansive, but it does one thing well - figure out what drinks you can make with what ingredients you have, and you don't have to scroll through pages of ingredients to build your list. :)

[...] I was mostly using a few books (The Daily Cocktail, Playboy Bartender’s Guide, Cocktail Basics, Old Mr. Boston DeLuxe Official Bartender’s Guide and The Bartender’s Guide) to figure out what I was going to make. But, sometimes, I did break down and consult the web. Other times, I used a Mixology iPhone app. [...]

[...] Mixologist I’m mostly a wine-and-beer guy, but every now and then I find myself at a beach house with an odd assortment of liquor and mixers. This 99-cent application lets you search for the drink you can make with the ingredients at hand, using a nice interface. There are many other cocktail recipes for the amateur bartender. There’s also a liquor store finder built into it. If this application sounds more appealing than it should, you might consider this one. [...]

This app is fantastic. I would probably pay $9.99 for it. Hell, maybe even more.
