If you have been following this site for a while, you probably know what a big fan I am of iPhone apps for kids. I am not talking about those silly games, but rather the apps that can help small kids learn new things and master fundamental concepts. Pacifier 1 is one of those apps. It’s designed to help your kids learn basic cognitive skills. Whether you want to get your kid started with vocabulary or counting, you can use Pacifier to help make your job a lot easier.
Pacifier gives you access to a set of controls that you adjust to help your child get the best out of pacifier. You can choose from multiple games available on this app. Color and shape games is a great cognitive game while counting games help get your child started with basic math. And the fact that you get various songs to choose from makes the whole experience more enjoyable for your kid.
The iPhone SDK may be a revolutionary platform, but it is due to the emergence of applications such as Pacifier that you can call it a true success. There is more to the iPhone platform than highly intensive action games, and pacifier proves just that. A very useful app for all parents with small children.

– English alphabets are displayed sequentially (like flash cards).
– Alphabets are pronounced (Optional switch).
– Pause button to stop at an alphabet
– Reset button to start over
– Timer can be adjusted to delay display of alphabets
