8 Best Friendfeed iPhone Applications

By  |

Friendfeed may not be as big as Twitter yet, but many former tweeters are using it religiously to update their status across multiple networks. Friendfeed is really more suitable for discussion and reactions than Twitter, and it is a bit more convenient to use for organized discussions. It’s not to say that you should forget about Twitter and Facebook, but if you are not using Friendfeed already, now’s the time to start.

If you are planning to use Friendfeed religiously in the near future, here are 8 cool iPhone apps that you should try to keep your account up to date all times:

BuddyFeed: the best client for FriendFeed hands down. It’s got everything you need to manage your FriendFeed account on the go.

Alert Thingy: one of the best Friendfeed Twitter clients out there. Not as good as Friendfeed but pretty good.

Nambu: a free app for FriendFeed that lets you manage your account while you are on the go. Not as good as the premium ones though. But it’s free, simple to use, and comes with a great interface.

Pingle: a client based on Ping.fm that allows you to update your FriendFeed page fast. Ping.fm is a must use service for people who are heavily involved in the social media.

Statuso: another little app that lets you update your FriendFeed or Facebook status easily. But you can also manage your Facebook, Twitter, and other accounts.

Amigo: another FriendFeed client that lets you do everything you would want to do on FriendFeed right from your phone. Easy to use and a great way to get more involved.

webfeedr: another FF client that lets you post updates and access your info on your phone. It’s easy to navigate and manage.

Freshfeed: a simple FF app for iPhone and iPod Touch. Great way to stay on the top of things.

There you have it. I admit that having more alternatives in this category would help, but the above Friendfeed iPhone apps should give you plenty to work with. In the meantime, feel free to share your favorite apps here.
