Frax for iPhone

Fractals are quite amazing. You don’t need to be a math or science genius to appreciate fractals. You do need the right software and a powerful computer to make your own fractals (3D or 2D). Frax for iPhone happens to be a beautiful application that allows you to play with fractals and patterns with ease. You can change light, texture, and other settings and interact with fractals to your heart’s content.

Frax provides you with an immersive experience. It offers plenty of multi-touch gestures, so you can have a ton of fun with fractals. We loved the short videos included in the app that show how users can get the most out of it. You can change light, colors, texture, and motion and experiment with fractals. The app does have a bunch of awesome fractals in its gallery. You could always make and save your own work to your album.

Frax’s fractals are simply out of this world. You can do all kinds of neat experiments to create your art. Frax sets you back $1.99 but the pro version, which you can purchase as an in-app pack, sets you back another $4.99. Not super cheap but a lot of fun.
