Puzzles are perfect time killers on iPhone. Whether you have some down time, or just want to take some time to sharpen your problem solving skills for a few minutes every day, puzzle iPhone games come in handy. Mercutio is one of those games. It’s a cool, simple game of matching discs that will test your ability to plan ahead and mix and match discs of different colors in a way that bags you the most points possible.

Here is how the game works. You have four different kinds of discs that you can put on the grid. You can only put them down in groups of 4 (horizontally, vertically, or in a 2*2 space). Your goal is to overlap your groups as much as possible to earn the most points. The game comes with 200 different levels, so you can keep playing until you run out of time. The game may sound simple on the surface, but you do need to think a bit to improve your score with every try.

Like most modern puzzle games for iPhone, Mercutio comes with an international high scores and social gaming features to help you have more fun on your phone. The game also saves your progress automatically, so you can always get back to it in the future without having to start the game from scratch. All in all, if you are looking for a simple, fun puzzle game to play on your phone, Mercutio is a nice one to try.
