Bringing a dog into your life can do wonders for you. These creatures can bring lots of joy in your life and keep you busy. Finding the right dog is not always easy. It is always a nice idea to see which dogs are available for adoption in your area, so you can help save one or two of them. BarkBuddy for iPhone can help. It is an iPhone / iPad app designed to help you find dogs for adoption in your area.

BarkBuddy doesn’t just throw a list of dogs to adopt at you. You can swipe through dogs in your area, save your favorites, and look for dogs that meet your criteria. Whether you want a small puppy or an older one, this app has you covered. Once you have found the dog that you want to adopt, use BarkBuddy to set up an appointment to meet it. The more you use the app, the better its recommendations become.

BarkBuddy is available for iPhone and iPad. We found the user interface to be easy to get used to. I wasn’t able to find too many dogs to adopt in my area. Still, the idea has lots of potential.
