In the past few months, we have covered plenty of useful iOS apps for outdoor adventures. Altimeter Pro for iPhone is another app that helps you hike with more confidence. It serves as your compass and altimeter, allowing you to track your speed, distance, coordinates, and more.

Altimeter Pro has multiple map modes (satellite, hybrid, and standard maps). It shows real-time orientation to magnetic fields and lets you switch between true and magnetic north. The app also shows weather related data, including temperature, wind, visibility, and sunrise/sunset.
