Overcast has a modern design. You can search and discover new podcasts quickly. The app supports smart filters, so you can create better custom playlists. The app lets you download podcasts over cellular too. When new episodes arrive, the app sends you notifications. The app has a sleep timer and lets you adjust its playback speed. The user-interface is quite clean and does not confuse you. We didn’t have a whole lot of issues as far as crashes go.

Overcast is not the only decent app available for playing podcast programs. But it gets the job done fairly well. You need iOS 7 to run this program.
