Car Maintenance Reminder

Owning a car is a big responsibility. There is more to taking care of your car than washing it every weekend. If you want your car to run smoothly and last you longer, you want to make sure you pay attention to your car’s tires pressure and oil. You also want to get your car checked by a mechanic every few months to make sure everything is in order. Who has time to remember all these things, right? That’s where Car Maintenance Reminder comes into play. It’s an awesome application that keeps track of your car related tasks so you don’t have to.

Car Maintenance Reminder has a simple to use interface and lets you store your car information on your iPhone. You can always store the recommended tire pressure and oil level for your car to check your car’s information against to make sure it is in tip-top shape. It supports multiple vehicles which helps.

The Alert feature is pretty handful as well. You can set up alerts (e.g. each 6 months) to, let’s say, make sure your car’s oil is taken care of at the right time. Alerts can be configured to go off periodically, after a specific date, or after you have passed a specific mileage. The odometer log is pretty helpful too.

This app has a lot of potential. It’d be nice if some of the information (e.g. recommended tires pressures) were uploaded to this app automatically. Wouldn’t it be nice if this app could actually track your mileage, so you didn’t have to? How about if this app offered oil price comparison in your area?

A lot of people own cars these days and many of them need tools such as this one to keep their cars in top shape at all times. Let’s hope the developers behind Car Maintenance Reminder add more cool features to their app in the future. Still, this is a pretty decent alert/log app for your car.
