There are many note-taking applications available for iOS and Android. Noted by Tack is an awesome iPhone app that lets you take notes but does not confuse you with needless bells and whistles. The design is simple and easy to get used to.

Noted has gesture-based controls. You can create a new note by pulling down. You can go through all your notes by swiping left or right. Want to delete notes? You can do so with a two-finger swipe. What’s neat is you can change the color of your notes. It is also possible to share your notes on Facebook, Twitter, or via e-mail. We found the app to be quite smooth and easy to use. All you need is the ability to type.
