Virtual Guide: Augmented Reality App for Car Owners

Virtual Guide from Hyundai is an augmented reality app that wants to be your car owner’s manual. It provides you with an augmented reality view of the engine compartment and the interior of your car.

The app shows you various engine parts and how you can perform basic maintenance tasks. It also shows how to use different functions of your car when you are inside. The app provides users with an interactive experience and does not require you to read a booklet to learn about your car.

According to the Verge, the app will be available in the next couple of months for the 2015 and the 2016 Hyundai Sonata.
