Into MMA much? MMA is one of the fastest growing sports around the globe. The people at the UFC have done a wonderful job making the sport almost mainstream in the U.S. The sport continues to grow as more people try their luck in it. MMA is not only fun to watch on TV but also very entertaining to play on an iPhone. MMA by EA Sports is a high quality combat game that feeds your MMA addiction no matter where you are.

Due to its technical and complex nature, MMA is one of the toughest games to get right for any console. Many have tried and failed in the past. The folks at EA have done a decent job bringing some of the popular fighters in the world to the iOS platform. This game has 20 real fighters for you to choose from (including Fedor and Randy Couture).

The career mode can be pretty entertaining (though it needs some improvements). Players can create their own fighters in “career mode.” Users can choose the appropriate weight-class, hair style, and fighting style for their fighters. Entrance music can modified as well.

MMA EA Sports is very well designed and has decent graphics for iPhone. The controls are easy too. The AI can be a bit frustrating. It can be too difficult or too simple to beat at times. It’d be nice to see more fighters added to this game (though many top fighters’ likenesses are  locked up by the UFC). Still, if you are into MMA, you should give this game a try.
