In case you have missed it, we have been reviewing iPhone and iPad applications on YouTube for a while now. This week, we had the opportunity to test plenty of great apps. Here are 5 iPhone apps that stood out for us:

Textastic for iOS: one of the best code editors around. It offers syntax highlighting, code completion, and TextMate. It can handle FTP, FTPS, and STFP connections.

Stock for iPhone & iPad: helps you keep up with the stocks and market changes on your tablet. It covers 9 sectors, 4,000 companies, 30,000 charts, and 40,000 news stories. It has an elegant design and loads data fast.

80 Bites Diet App: lets you track how much food you are taking in. The goal is to keep your intake under 80 bites each day. The app also helps you slow down your eating pace to feel full in less time.

ReaddleDocs: a document viewer and file manager for iPad. It can open large PDFs and lets you save email attachments. You can transfer files to your iPad via or without WiFi.

Lumosity: brings Lumosity’s brain games to your iPhone and iPad. You can use this to sharpen your brain, enhance your cognitive skills, and improve your memory.
