Confession is an interesting application that is developed to help you prepare for the Rite of Penance. It may not replace official confessions, but it is the next best thing and encourages confessions.

Confession is more than just a confession app. For starters, it allows users to perform an examination of their conscience using concepts fundamental to Christianity. Confession is customizable and does allow for multiple users. Accounts can be protected using passwords which is a must.

Confession has something for every Christian. It does have the prayers to help you approach the Rite of Penance the right way. Even though the Vatican has announced that confessions can be made over an iPhone, one can still use this app to keep track of their sins. This app keeps track of the time of your last confession, so you will know when it is probably time for a new one.

Confession is probably not for everyone. If you are not a Christian or don’t believe in the concept of confession, you want to pass on this app. Still, this could be useful for Christians.
