iTC Calc – iTC Calc Light

Whether you are a production manager or just an Adobe After Effects guru, you are going to have to work with time-codes and frames. I am no expert when it comes to the production process, but I am familiar with some of the headaches involved. iTC Calc is a super application, made for producers and After Effects productions, that helps you deal with frames and time-codes more effectively.

iTC Calc supports most frame rates (24, 25 fps, 29.97 DF). As you can see in the above picture, the application is very easy to use and intuitive. You also get two modes (simple and complete). You can start with offset calculator, a time-code frame converter, and standard mathematical operations. In the complete mode, you get access to duration calculator and history window as well.

iTC comes in two flavors:

• iTC Calc (full version)
• iTC Calc Lite

Both these versions have very useful features, but if you are serious about purchasing a utility program to help you during the production process, you want to invest in the full version.

iTC Calc is not for everyone. It’s a niche iPhone application designed for production professionals. If  you belong to that group, you are going to love iTC Calculator. But if you are anything like me, you want to purchase this application for your production professional.
