Marlee Signs teaches you how to express yourself in the American Sign Language. You are going to learn the signed alphabet and basic vocabulary. The videos by the academy award winning actress Marlee Matlin are a nice touch. Each lesson is broken down into individual videos, so you can go at your own pace. Have trouble keeping up? Use the “Slow Motion” settings to learn more effectively.

Marlee Signs comes with a bunch of in-app add-ons you can pick up to learn even more about the ASL. The Spell feature is quite neat as it shows you how to spell any word in the sign language. You may not be able to master the language overnight. But the Marlee Signs app does help with the process.
