You don’t need a fancy calculator to tackle math questions these days. Your iPhone or iPad is more than capable of replacing one. Sumhold for iPhone is an elegant application that calculates and stores numbers while giving you simple gestures to control it. The app remembers your calculations and provides support for copy/paste functionality.

The user interface is very clean and simple to get a handle on. It has everything you need to tackle and track long math problems. To remember numbers, just swipe it down and save it as a button. The app does not have fancy buttons and functions, so it may not be perfect for advanced math and science questions. Many of us don’t need those advanced functions anyway.

Sumhold is available for $0.99 at the time of this writing. It looks great and tracks your calculations. There is a lot to like about this app.
