Turkey Call

There are a lot of folks who are so excited about the android platform. I have to say it’s a very exciting platform. But by no means it’s anywhere close to the iPhone platform. Not today anyway. Not when you look at the variety of applications available in iTunes. Take Turkey Call for example. It’s a simple, yet effective app that is designed for turkey hunters. It comes with a variety of turkey noises that will make hunting those fellows a bit easier.

In the past few months, we have had a chance to test a few similar applications for hunters. Turkey Call certainly comes closest to being a useful tool for hunters. The sounds available in this app are remastered and cleaned up to remove any background noise. So what you play is crystal clear and helps you get on with the hunt.

You can also use Turkey Call to have some fun and pull pranks on your friends as well (perfect for those of us who are not exactly hunters). Is the app effective for hunting turkey? Only those who have hunt can tell. But from what we have tested, the sounds are crisp and the background noise is minimum at best. Certainly worth a test if you are into hunting.
