Many folks run or walk long distances a few times a week to keep their body in great shape. You could burn a ton of calories that way. Trying the same routes over and over again gets boring after a while. With apps such as Walk Watch, you can not only track your walks but also your performance over time as you try new routes.
Walk Watch turns your iPhone into a fitness GPS. It is developed for outdoor use. It records your time, location, pace, and other relevant fitness data. The app tracks your walks and lets you compare your results. The built-in map makes it easier to keep track of your routes and walks. Users can learn more about their performances by using the Calendar view.
Walk Watch has a fairly decent-looking design. The app did crash on us a few times. It also did not track a couple of my runs accurately. The idea is pretty solid but the execution needs a bit of work.
