Roman Backgammon

Backgammon does not need any introduction. It is one of the oldest and most addictive games around. You can’t have a whole lot of fun playing the game with yourself. But if you have problem finding a decent human opponent to play board games with, you may want to consider picking up Roman Backgammon. It is a decent looking game that enables you to play this game against the computer or a friend.

For starters, Roman Backgammon has decent graphics. It really is a simpler version of this game. All stones begin off the board. You may notice that the board does not have the triangular points you see in traditional backgammon. Users can move via drag & drop or by tapping. Since the rules of the game are easier, this is the perfect app to start your kids with the board game.

Roman Backgammon has 3 level of difficulty. You do have the option to play music without exiting the game. You can customize stone colors too (though we would love to have more customization options). The app support Game Center. You could also play against others via Pass & Play. We still prefer Backgammon NJ as our favorite app but Roman Backgammon has its own merit.
