Fast & Furious The Game

The new Fast & Furious movie is out and so is an iPhone app that lets you get in the game and race your heart out. Fast & Furious for iPhone is a multi-player racing game that involves you racing through the streets of LA, Mexico, and Dominican Republic. The game pretty much follows the same rules from the movie. You challenge others, you race, and when you lose, you pay big time!

I was very impressed with the graphics. The WiFi multi-player feature is great as it lets you challenge your friends iPhone against iPhone. The YouTube feature is a big plus too. Let’s say you have the best race of your life. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could record and share your race with others? With this app you can upload the videos to YouTube easily.

You get 7 exciting game modes with Fast & Furious:

1. Road Race
2. Drag Race
3. Drift Race
4. GPS Race
5. Tunnel Run
6. Pursuit and Evade (my favorite!)

You get lots of cars to choose from, and there are multiple levels to keep you going for some time (18 levels). The races are long enough to keep you entertained but not too long. What makes this app truly interesting are those fun modes. And who wouldn’t love having the ability to steal others’ cars.

Overall, Fast & Furious is a very good racing game for iPhone. It’s a bit on the expensive side, and there may be a need for the makers to add more races and improvements to justify the price. But Fast & Furious is fun, good looking, and very entertaining.
