Geomaster

We have a lot of smart people in the U.S. But you’d be surprised how many can’t point a specific state or location on the U.S. map, if asked. Learning about geography does not have to be boring. Not when you can have Geomaster on your iPhone to help you out. It is a fun map quiz game that helps you get a better handle for what’s on your map.

Geomaster makes geography exciting. You are given a short amount of time to locate cities accurately on your map. The game does have 40 levels, so you will be thoroughly tested before you are done with Geomaster. A master of the U.S. map? This app covers Asian, European, and South American countries too. It even has a flag game.

Geomaster can be challenging at times, especially if geography is not your cup of tea. It is still a great tool for the young ones and the adults to dabble in geography. Geomaster keeps track of your time and accuracy level. It does have enough levels to keep players going for some time.

Geomaster has a lot of potential. I would love to see some social features added to this application. Being able to create custom puzzles and cover more than just cities and states would be nice too. Still, this is one of few apps that can make geography more fun.
