NYC Map for iPhone, which has come to fruition from the partnership of NYC & Company and Citymaps, is a simple but effective tool that helps you discover new places and explore your city more effectively.

The NYC Map app uses logos and names of stores, so you can figure out where to go in the city. You do get the chance to filter through the content available to see only what you are interested in on your map. This tool does let you explore specific neighborhoods in New York. Useful information for businesses are provided so you can reach them more conveniently.

NYC Map allows you to find your location on the map easily. It offers deals, local tweets, restaurant information, and a whole lot more. This is a pretty powerful tool for anyone interested in getting more out of New York city. We wish it covered more area though.
