Zagat needs no introduction. It’s the most trusted guide to restaurants and a service that I have been using on my GPS to find new places to eat on a consistent basis. Zagat to Go 2009 is a cool iPhone app that lets you take advantage of the power of Zagat right on your mobile phone. It gives you access to over 40K Zagat ratings and reviews, so no matter what you are interested in (nightlife, hotels, …), you are going to find a decent place with Zagat.

Zagat lets you find nearby places by using the GPS functionality, so you are never out of luck wherever you are. You can also reserve seats right on your phone. The top rated lists is my favorite feature as it gives you access to the best places in your city.

Zagat 2009 will update till 12/13/2009. Most major cities are covered in this app. If you are looking for an iPhone app that helps you find new places to dine or reserve your seat in your favorite restaurant, you can’t go wrong with Zagat 09.
