Junior Coder for iPad: Visual Programming for Kids

By  |

Teaching children the basics of coding is a great way to prepare them for future jobs. You wouldn’t want to start your kids with a thick C programming book though. Junior Coder for iPad is a handy app that uses games and puzzles to teach the basics of computer science to your children. It has 5 levels to help your children grasp new ideas.

The app teaches looping, debugging, functions, and other basic concepts. Users will be able to play games and design their own challenges. While the app reinforces algorithmic thinking and sequencing, it doesn’t teach a specific programming language.

Junior Coder runs on iOS 7.0 or later. You can download it for free.
