Since when I was a kid, I was intrigued by bow games. I remember playing it on my Pentium 233 and have tried it on other gaming systems as well. Now, thanks to Lentrica software, I get to play it on my iPhone. Bowman is a simple yet addictive game that allows you to play it like a real bowman on your iPhone. Your goal is to shoot arrows at your opponent and get them before they get you. It’s a game of angles and accuracy.
Your goal is to wound and kill your opponent and the best way to do that is by going for the head. You can also go for the heart. But it’s not that simple. You need to judge the distance accurately and get the right angle to hit your opponent. And the power you put behind each shot is important as well.
The bird shooting feature included with Bowman is pretty entertaining too. Your goal is to kill as many birds as you can in 3 minutes (what’s your record?). It’s a cool way to compete with your friends without aiming for each other’s heads.
As much as I like this game, there is even more to be excited about with new updates. The introduction of wind and wall is going to make Bowman even more addictive. The global scoring system is a welcome addition. And the birds are going to get more tricky to shoot down. And you get it all for about a dollar. Now that is what I call getting a good bang for your buck!
