FaxBurner may not completely replace your fax machine, but it does give you the ability to receive fax messages on the go. Everytime you need to receive a fax message from someone, this app provides you with a fax number that works for 24 hours. Once you receive your message, you can store it on your device or send it to your email. FaxBurner alerts you when you receive a new fax.

FaxBurner is a free application at this point. It does limit the number of fax pages you can receive each month (25 pages at the time of this writing). While this is a very helpful app for business professionals, users want to make sure they do not ask for super sensitive information using this service.

FaxBurner is easy to setup and quite effective in what it does. The developers are planning a premium version of this app in 2011. Let’s hope this app gets even more business friendly with future updates.
