Timelapse Toolkit has a number of handy tools for you to take advantage of. The timelapse calculator calculates the total length of your clip, the duration of your event, and the interval needed between the shots. The sun and moon trackers give you information on sun and moon rise/set times. You can always use the torch feature at night to prepare your work.

Timelapse Toolkit has a simple interface and could save you time preparing your timelapses. It also includes a page on how you can get the best results. The app is compatible with both the iPhone and iPad.
