Playing magic with numbers is one of the oldest tricks to keep the kids and the young entertained. Being able to guess the number someone has guessed is the oldest trick in the book, and yet it’s very intriguing to those who don’t know how the trick works. With Magic Math, you can surprise your friends and entertain the kids using your iPhone. It’s a cool little app that will ask you to guess a number and then asks you to provide it with a few tips before it guesses your number. Very simple in concept, but very entertaining at the same time.

So here is how it works. You pick a number between 1 and 31. Once you have done that, you are given five cards and all you have to do is indicate whether you number is on those cards. All you have to do is tap once to indicate “no” and tap twice to give the app the indication that your number is indeed on a card. After 5 tries, the app will give you the number that you have chosen.

All in all, Magic Math is a very simple app that can be very entertaining for folks who are not familiar with this trick. It’s well made and very easy to use. It could also make math interesting to the kids. Who says math can’t be entertaining?
