There are software applications you can use on your computer to design floor plans. If you want to have the ability to do it on the go, MagicPlan has you covered. It is a simple to use app that makes creating such plans a piece of cake without you having to be a designer or an architect.

MagicPlan does not require you to do any drawing or measuring. You don’t even have to move your furniture to get started with your plan. Just use your phone to take a picture of corners of your rooms, and this app does the rest for you. MagicPlan will measure your rooms, draw up your floor plan, and allows you to publish your work to the web in PDF or JPEG format.

It may take you a bit of time to get used to MagicPlan. Complex rooms do require you to pay more attention. In general, the app does what it promises well. The plans from MagicPlan can be used to tackle the design jobs in your home more effectively. This is a wonderful tool for real estate professionals too. The free version does have watermarks. You can remove that by purchasing the appropriate add-on.

MagicPlan is quite a neat application for folks who have to deal with floor plans on a frequent basis. It is not hard to use and does what it promises well.
