App Reviews
VLC 2.0 for iPhone
VLC is a pretty awesome application for playing videos. It takes the pain out of the process of downloading and watching videos on your device as you won’t have to do any conversions (in most cases). VLC for iPhone was removed from the App Store a while ago. VLC 2.0 has now made it back to the app store. It is still free and open source.
VLC 2.0 is a universal app, so it will work just fine on all your iOS devices. You now have more ways to synchronize media. The app lets you upload videos over WiFi and supports Dropbox as well. Network streams are also supported. The process of sending videos to VLC can’t be any easier. Just use the address the app provides you to drag videos to your iOS device from your computer.
VLC 2.0 is not perfect. It does crash and needs some work in other areas. But we are excited that VLC is finally back in the App Store. Will it stay for longer this time around? We will have to wait and see.
