The Oregon Trail
The Oregon Trail is a reenactment of the classic games a lot of used to play a life-time ago. It’s an educational adventure game that involves you solving challenges in a historical environment. If you have played the original game, you probably know how the game works. The game involves a lot of decision-making and problem-solving, and now you can get it all on your iPhone.
The game has 8 skill-based mini-games that will keep you busy for a while:
- Fishing
- Hunting
- River Crossing
- Rafting
- Repairing
- Telegraph
- Berry picking
- Gold panning
You also get side-missions to make your journey more interested.
Verdict: I was personally impressed with some of the graphics in this game. The game may not be that fun for grown ups. These games are much more fun when you are a kid, but once you get older, you grow out of them. I was also not so impressed with the game crashing on me multiple times. The Oregon Trail is a game with great potential. It is especially great for kids but some adults may find it fun as well.
