The app is pretty easy to use. Just copy and paste the text that you want to be read to you into this app, and Speak It! gets the job done for you. It has 4 voice types available, so you have some options there (though it’d be nice if other accents are included for free). I like the fact that you can create audio files and send them to others or store them.
Speak It! store is certainly worth a look. If you are not satisfied with the 4 voices that you get with this app, you can always download more from the store. The quality of these voices are superb, giving you your money’s worth.
Text to speech apps may not be for everyone. Nevertheless, Speak It! does make it much easier to listen to things instead of reading them. It can also be used to make announcements. Being able to save and email audio files is a plus too. It works on iPad as well. A handy tool to own.
