When Amazon Kindle was released to the market a while ago, some people were complaining about not having a way to read their favorite comic books on that device. Kindle is great for reading e-books but is limited in some ways. If you own an iPad or iPhone, you don’t have any excuse to do any complaining. Dark Horse Comics is a one of many apps available for folks who want to read comics on their iOS device.

Dark Horse Comics enables you to read your favorite comic titles right on your iPhone. The app does have a selection of free titles available. But you can always purchase more for as low as $0.99 per title. This application works great on iPad too. More titles are added all the time, so you can keep building your collection no matter where you are.

Dark Horse Comics’ interface needs no explanation. It is pretty easy to get started with. The focus of this application is to help you read your comics without it getting in your way. We do have one complaint though. The app did crash on us a couple of times. Let’s hope the developers release a more stable version soon.
