In this day and age, you can’t blame the government for not doing its job if you are not familiar with the people who are representing you. Learning more about Congress, its members, and past legislation does not have to be hard. Pocket Congress is a beautiful application that provides you with all kinds of useful information on the U.S. Congress and its legislation.
Pocket Congress is designed to make you more knowledgeable about the U.S. Congress and its members. It lets you search for members by location, name, committee, state, and zip code. You can go through legislation by sponsor, keyword, type, and number. The app shows you most recent actions with actual text for each piece of legislation.
Pocket Congress makes tracking Congress members a lot easier. At the very least, it can help you learn more about who is representing you and what they have tried to pass. The user-interface is quite elegant and interactive. We did find a few errors in the data but this is a good try.
