The Amortizer is a mortgage calculator app for iPhone that gives you all those and more.

The concept behind The Amortizer is pretty simple, and the app does what it’s supposed to do well. It can calculate payments, cost per square foot, total cost, and even your interest. This mortgage calculator gives you your full amortization schedule (for tax purposes and beyond).

I like the fact that you can share the information you get from this app via PDF. Saving loans to refer to in the future is possible too. The ability to compare properties is pretty nice too.

The Amortizer has a lot of potential. It’s pretty easy to use and has a simple interface. It’d be nice to be able to calculate those more complicated loans (while taking into account more factors) with it. At the same time, this app does make it very easy to get an estimate on houses.
