The Elements is one of the most popular iPhone apps around, especially if you are majoring in Chemistry. It has been getting a lot of coverage in the media for its dynamic interface and unique features. The developers behind this app have now optimized this app for iPhone 4. The Elements is the periodic table on steroids. Your periodic table has pictures of the elements, which you can tap on to find out more information about each elements. Certainly beats playing with those paper tables and charts.

The Elements not only gives you a more dynamic way to explore the elements, it also gives you a wealth of information on each one. Great way to master the table inside and out. The fact that Wolfram|Alpha engine is integrated in this app is a big plus.

Chemistry is not going to fun for everyone. At least not until you try The Elements. The more you play with this app, the better sense you’ll have on what this science is all about. This version of The Elements is optimized for iPhone 4, so if you have just picked up your new phone, this is another fun app to own. Very impressive design and interface.
