App Reviews

I don’t know about you, but the iPhone has been a life saver when it comes to managing my contacts. There are plenty of contact management apps available for iPhone that let you organize and manage your contacts more effectively. WhoPaste is an innovative app that makes importing your contacts into your lists easier. All you have to do is copy and forget it.

Here is how WhoPaste works. If you happen to have someone’s contact information up on your iPhone, all you have to do is use the command copy and open WhoPaste to import your information into your contact list. The app can be configured to easily handle e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and beyond.

WhoPaste comes with enough options to make life easier for you on the go. You can assign contacts to groups, setup tags, handle international phones, and import all kinds of information on your phone. If you have used WhoPaste on Mac before, you probably have a much better idea what this app is all about.

WhoPaste may not be the fanciest contact app around, but it can save people time and effort when dealing with their contact information. Well worth a look.

  • Hi There;

This is the developer of WhoPaste. Thanks for the mention on your website!
    I really appreciate it!!

I would be interested in better understand what you meant by the comment “not the fanciest contact app around”! My thinking has been that WhoPaste is a utility that should present a minimal interface to get the job done and get out of the way as quickly as possible so you can get back to whatever you were doing…. I’m serious here. I listen carefully to customers to constantly try and improve WhoPaste. So do let me know if there is a way you feel I could improve the experience!

By the way WhoPaste works great with Dragon Dictate.
This combination allows you to create a new contact by just SPEAKING!!

    Here’s how it works:
    Launch the Dragon Dictation app
    Tap ‘Record’
Say: “John Smith john s at gmail dot com 754 555 2345”
    Tap ‘Done’
    Tap ‘Send to Clipboard’
    Launch either WhoPaste or WhoP-G
Tap ‘Save’ -> a contact is created in either the Contacts app or in Google Contacts
    It’s pretty sweet!!

    • Hi Steve,

I certainly did not mean your app was not good or anything in that sense. There are lots of contact management apps around that have lots of bells and whistles but don’t come close to what you are offering because they just make life too complicated. That was just my observation, and that’s what I intended to convey. I personally enjoyed using your app and like the simple-to-use interface very much. Hope this clarifies things.
