Reeder 2 for iPhone
Google Reader is dead. Many of us have gotten over that by now. There are plenty of awesome other RSS services you can take advantage of to keep up with your favorite blogs. Reeder has always been one of our favorite RSS readers for iPhone. It has now been updated and supports services such as Fever, Feedly, Feed Wrangler and Feedbin.
Reeder 2 is a universal app. It works great on iPhone and iPad. You can add your accounts and keep track of your unread items conveniently. Plenty of sharing options are supported. Reeder’s main strength is its simple but elegant design. It says out of your way as you keep up with your reading list. Unlike many previous versions, Reeder 2 is not reliant on a Google Reader like service. It can save as a standalone feed reader.
Reeder 2 is available for under $5 at this time. It is not the cheapest app in this category but if you were a fan of the old Reeder, you are going to like this one too.
